kfb - knit front and back, knit into the front of the stitch as you normally would, pull your loop through, then without dropping the stitch off the left needle, swing your right needle around and knit into the back of the same stitch, pull your loop through and now drop the original stitch off the left needle. You have now increased by 1 stitch
